MARC W. JUDICE, born October 22, 1946, obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Louisiana State University School of Law in 1977. While in Law School, he was a member of the Robert Lee Tullis Moot Court Board. In Flory Trial Competition at LSU School of Law, he was selected the best trial attorney in the Fall of 1976.
He has been actively engaged in litigation since 1977, with emphasis in the areas of medical, dental, healthcare and professional liability defense. He is certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
Marc has been asked to give numerous presentations in the fields of law and healthcare to a wide array of organizations including Lafayette Parish Medical Society, Louisiana Society of Orthopedic Surgeons, Louisiana Society of Neurosurgeons, Acadiana Pediatric Society, Acadiana Dental Association, Louisiana Medical Mutual Insurance Company, The Medical Protective Company, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, National Business Institute, LSU School of Dentistry, Medical Risk Management and LSU School of Law.
Marc served as Chairman of the Board of Directors at University Medical Center in Lafayette, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Medical Center of Southwest Louisiana and on the Board of Trustees for Women's and Children's Hospital.
Marc was listed in the 2007 inaugural edition of Louisiana Super Lawyers, an honor awarded to only five percent of Louisiana attorneys. He has earned the highest rating (AV) from Martindale-Hubbell for skill and integrity. Marc is listed in the Bar Register of Prominent Lawyers, the Marquis Who's Who in American Law and Marquis Who's Who in America.
He is a is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, Lafayette Parish Bar Association and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel. He is admitted in all State and Federal Courts of the State of Louisiana.
MICHAEL W. ADLEY, born October 29, 1953, obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Louisiana State University School of Law in 1981.
He is a member of the American, Louisiana State and Lafayette Parish Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Order of the Coif, Delta Theta Phi Legal Fraternity and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
He was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Torts and Constitutional Law. From 1982 through 1984, he served as a Law Clerk for Honorable John M. Shaw, United States District Judge, Western District of Louisiana. He was a coauthor of Jury Selection and Courtroom Procedure for Lafayette Public Television.
He is admitted to practice in all State and Federal Courts in the State of Louisiana, as well as the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also a member of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Lafayette Parish Bar Association.
JAMES J. HAUTOT, born September 27, 1957, obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University in 1980 and a Juris Doctor degree from Louisiana State University School of Law in 1986. While in Law School, he served as a member of the Louisiana Law Review and is the author of "Contract Dissolution," 45 La. L. Rev. 783 (1985) and "Choice of Law in Louisiana: Torts," 47 La. L. Rev. 1109 (1987).
He is admitted to practice in all State and Federal Courts in the State of Louisiana, as well as the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the American, Louisiana State and Lafayette Parish Bar Associations and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.
MICHELLE R. JUDICE, born February 12, 1973, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in English, magna cum laude, from Louisiana State University in 1995. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Louisiana State University School of Law and was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1998. She served as Law Clerk for Honorable Henry L. Yelverton, Louisiana Third Circuit Court of Appeals, from 1998 through 1999.
She is admitted to practice in all State Courts and the District Courts for the State of Louisiana, Western and Middle Districts. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
H.L. TUTEN III (RYE), born July 12, 1977, Orangeburg, South Carolina, to Dr. and Mrs. Harry Lane Tuten, Jr. Obtained Bachelor of Arts degree, Cum Laude, from Clemson University in 1999. While at Clemson, member of the Kappa Alpha Order, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Phi Alpha Theta. Obtained Juris Doctor degree from The University of Mississippi in 2003. Admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in October, 2003. Member of the Louisiana State and Lafayette Parish Bar Association.
He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State Courts as well as Federal Court for the Western District of Louisiana. Married to Lainey Huguet Tuten, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Albert Barrie Huguet of Opelousas, Louisiana
JASON E. WILSON, born April 9, 1974, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in1997. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Louisiana State University School of Law and was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2003. He served as Law Clerk for the Honorable Marilyn C. Castle, 15th Judicial District Court, from 2002 through 2003.
He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Lafayette Parish Bar Association.
CYNTHIA A. ACOSTA, born May 27, 1962, obtained a Bachelor of General Studies degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (formerly USL) in 1985. She received her Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2004. She is admitted to practice in all State Courts for the State of Louisiana.
She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Lafayette Parish Bar Association.
Victoria R. McDaniel Sonnier,
born June 15, 1976, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary
Education, magna cum laude, from Louisiana State University in 1999. She
received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Law Studies and her Juris Doctor
degree from Louisiana State University School of Law and was admitted to the
Louisiana State Bar in 2003. She served as Law Clerk for Honorable Timothy
Kelley, 19th Judicial District Court, from 2003 through 2005.
She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Lafayette
Parish Bar Association.
Cearley W. Fontenot, born March 13, 1980, obtained a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in Interpersonal and Public Communication with a Minor in English, from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2002. While at ULL, she was a member of Sigma Gamma Mu honor society. Cearley received her Juris Doctor degree and Bachelor of Civil Law from Louisiana State University School of Law in 2006. While at LSU Law, she volunteered for Thirst for Justice/LSU Pro Bono at St. Vincent de Paul under Honorable Melvin Shortess. She was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2006.
